Checks of system of injection of fuel

Before getting to work, get acquainted with the precautionary measures given in the Section of the Security measure and the rule of respect for purity during the work with fuel system

At failure detection of system of injection of fuel first of all be convinced of reliability of connection of all sockets and absence on their surfaces of traces of corrosion. Further be convinced that malfunction is caused not by neglect regular service (check the air cleaner, working gaps of valves, a compression in cylinders, the fuel filter). Be convinced also that hoses of system of ventilation of a case are not blocked (see the Head Routine maintenance).

If after conducting the checks described above the cause of defect is not found, drive away the car on HUNDRED for carrying out diagnostics. In the lower part of the dashboard from the driver there is a diagnostic socket which the special diagnostic equipment joins. This equipment reads out the codes of malfunctions recorded in memory of the control unit.

Codes of malfunctions can be schitana by means of the special diagnostic scanner which is available on HUNDRED, or personal computers with a special payment, the program and a cable.

By means of reading of codes you can easily find malfunction even if it is not obvious. You can check any knot without use of the diagnostic scanner of codes, but keep in mind that nonprofessional intervention in system can lead to damage of electronic knots.

If at your disposal there is a diesel tachometer or other suitable equipment, you can measure idling turns. But adjustment of these parameters is not made. Faulty nozzles can serve as a reason for rejection of turns of idling. In this case they need to be cleared and calibrated. Service life of nozzles is unlimited, but can happen so that you should repair them or to replace about 100 000 kilometers after the run. The expert has to carry out repair and calibration of nozzles.
